Hi, I’m Dana Regan
I am the founder and director of the Somatic Soul Coach™ School.
As you read over this information about the Somatic Soul Coach™ School certification program, I invite you to do so with your feet connected to the earth and your heart open to what’s possible.
I want your exploration of what we have to offer to be a full-body experience. I encourage you to check in with your body every as you read about the program, what sets it apart from other coaching certifications and how to decide if you belong here.

I started the Somatic Soul Coach™ School because I saw a need for a more body-centered approach to coaching. I’ve had a professional coaching practice for over 10 years and have witnessed again and again the life-changing impact that getting more in touch with the body has on my clients.
From CEOs to parents to teachers to entrepreneurs to influencers to digital nomads and everyone in between.
Given the chance to rewire their nervous system, my clients are now all happier, healthier and living in greater alignment with their life’s purpose.
When I realized that my impact would be limited working as the only Somatic Soul Coach™ in the world, I knew in my bones that it was time for me to share this transformative and deeply needed methodology with other people.
Other coaches, leaders, bodyworkers, and healers. Other souls—just like you—who know that the body is a wealth of wisdom and who are longing for greater access to a way to help others feel connected and embodied as well.
So the Somatic Soul Coach™ School was born.
This isn’t just a school. It’s a movement.
This is a place for people like you to learn how to be a Somatic Soul Coach™, a successful business owner and an active member of our disembodied world that so desperately needs our work.
The Somatic Soul Coach™ School is an inclusive space and—in addition to our core curriculum—we address topics such as privilege, race, and sexism directly because all of these things are inherently connected to the body. As someone who identifies as a female and who is half Puerto Rican, I have felt the impact of so many different systems of oppression on a cellular level in my own body.
We also give breath and attention to the science and alchemy of Somatic Soul Coaching™ and support deep inquiry and embodied application along the way.
This program is full and deep and profound.
It is my life’s work—my soul calling—and I want more than anything for you to join me, my diverse and accomplished faculty and your eager and awake peers in the Somatic Soul Coach™ School certification program.

We’ve assembled a team of professionals to help you become both an embodied Somatic Soul Coach™ as well as a successful business owner and leader. It takes a village to make an unstoppable coach and we’ve created the best and the brightest support team possible!
Faculty Members
Faculty members are the main—and wonderful—people responsible for sharing the Somatic Soul Coach™ School methodology and application with you in our virtual classroom. They are each experts and can also be reached by email in between class to answer any questions you have. Faculty bios are located further down this page if you’re eager to learn who will be teaching you.
Mentor Coaches
Mentor coaches oversee learning pods and the individual members of each group. Your mentor coach—who is a graduate of the Somatic Soul Coach™ School—is also available for one-on-one calls if you need additional support outside of the classroom and your Learning Pod.
Community Doula
Our community doula is available to help you navigate the emotional side of this life-changing, transformational certification program. This is someone you can reach out to and talk with when you need to process the things that are being uprooted as you stretch yourself on your way to becoming a Somatic Soul Coach™. They are there to help you feel seen and heard in your personal development.
Learning Pods
Learning pods are peer groups made up of 3-4 students and are designed to support you as you integrate your learnings. There are specific assignments that you’ll get together to complete with your learning pod. Every learning pod has a mentor coach that you and your group members can rely on for support as well. Your learning pod will also be there to help you with your personal project as you breathe life into your professional practice as a Somatic Soul Coach™.

This is why we have some truly special guest speakers lined up who will be adding to your understanding of coaching and business. This pillar invites your client to be honest about where they are in their development every step of the way.
The coaching relationship only works when you and your client are honest with each other—no honesty means no relationship

Learning how to develop their nervous system’s capacity to be stretched and deeply nourished.
Getting clear on their commitment to doing this work together
Having them send a check-in email at least once a week—or more if this is what you and your client agree to
A willingness to share what they’re doing and not doing so you can make adjustments as their coach.

This pillar invites your client to learn about all the ways they will be welcomed into the coaching relationship and what they can stay open to so they are part of the welcoming process.
Every part of your client is welcome in this relationship, including their Gremlin, Higher Self, Current Soma, and New Soma
The development of emotional agility is important to value as Somatic Soul Coaching™ welcomes both the pain and the joy of life. It’s about full-spectrum and inclusive living that does not privileged one somatic state over another
Your client must welcome being coached, which means allowing themselves to be challenged and interrupted when appropriate—interrupting story allows them to stay focused on the present and future and to get the desirable results that they’re longing for

This pillar invites your client to prioritize their wellbeing so that they can fully digest, metabolize and integrate the transformative work that you do together.

Dana began her career as a wellness leader in 2009 when she graduated from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health’s 200-hour yoga teacher training. In 2011 she received her degree in Somatic Psychology from Naropa University and launched her coaching practice—Liberate Coaching—that same year. After completing the 500-hour Scared Lasya yoga teacher training the following year, Dana went on to become a certified Souluna Life Coach.
From 2013 to 2017, Dana was the lead coach and director of online training at Souluna Life Coach School where she studied intensively under the school director, Coby Kozlowski. In her time as a coach, Dana has also taught at numerous prestigious retreat centers both nationally and internationally, including Kripalu, Omega, and Esalen.
Additionally, Dana has done 30+ advanced training credits in the Naropa University Somatic Psychology graduate program.

What is the Somatic Soul Coach™ School?
The Somatic Soul Coach™ School is a coaching school that offers students an intensive and transformative Certification Program so they can become successful and embodied coaches, leaders, and business owners. It was started in 2018 by Dana Regan and now consists of a small, dedicated team of faculty and support people. The Somatic Soul Coach™ School is visionary in its pursuit of coaching that privileges the intelligence of the body and nervous system to promote the creation of a more embodied world.

How long is the Somatic Soul Coach™ School certification program?
The certification program is 8 months long. This includes a 1-month pre-program course that’s designed to set students up for success for the remainder of the program.
What is the class schedule like for the Somatic Soul Coach™ School certification program?
The schedule involves live calls every 2-3 weeks plus practice coaching, writing, and learning pod activities in between the live calls. Expect to dedicate approximately 16 hours every month to live calls and 26+ hours every month to coursework. You can learn more about the course schedule here.

The Somatic Soul Coach™ School certification program is not an ICF accredited course. We a currently in the process of submitting the paperwork for ICF’s Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Accreditation. We will post an update as soon as we have received the successful approval of our application.
Is this a business program?
This is not a business program although we do give all of our students the basic resources they need to successfully launch their professional practice as a Somatic Soul Coach™. You can learn more about our business building component of the program here.
Will you help me set up my business?

How does the registration process work?
Once you’ve read up on our amazing and transformative training program, apply now and fill in the information in the form. From there, we’ll take a few days to review your application and then you’ll be sent an email to get setup on an admissions call with Dana. Once Dana has answered your questions and made sure you’re a good fit, you’ll be sent the final details on payment and what to expect in the months leading up to the start of this life-changing certification program.
What are the registration requirements?
We ask that everyone applying has at 100+ hours of professional experience as a coach, therapist, healer, bodyworker, yoga teacher or other wellness practitioner. You do not need to be a coach to apply. Once you’ve met those requirements, you need to submit your application and do an admissions call with Dana.

What happens after I submit my application?
Once you hit ‘submit,’ we’ll take a few days to review your application and then you’ll be sent an email to get setup on an admissions call with Dana. Yes! A non-refundable deposit of $2,500 is required to hold your spot in the certification program.

What kind of support do you offer students who are having trouble with the course material?
You will be supported in numerous way throughout the course by Dana and the other faculty, your mentor, your learning pod, a community doula, a tech support guide and your other peers. Should you need extra support at any time, please reach out to the appropriate person. We’ll breakdown who to talk to about what when you’re accepted into the certification program. What is your class attendance policy?
In order to successfully complete the Somatic Soul Coach™ certification program, you must attend all live classes. This is essential to you being about to fully experience, digest, and metabolize your learnings as a student. That being said, we understand that life happens and have a few ways to support you should you have to miss a live class.
Will I have to travel for any course-related activities?
You only have to travel as far as your computer. All classes are hosted online through Zoom and course content is accessible in digital format via your online student portal.
Where does the program take place?
The certification program takes place on your computer and wherever you are.
What technology will I need to participate in the certification program?
You need a device that allows you to access the internet and a Zoom account which you can get for free. We’ll send you more information on how to set yourself up for technological success in this certification program once you’ve been accepted.
Do I get to keep all my certification program materials?
Yes! Your manual and training videos are yours to keep. We want you to have all the reference materials you need to support you before, during, and after this life-changing certification program.
Is there more of a focus on certain topics over others? How is the program structured?
Our main focus at the Somatic Soul Coach™ School is to getting you developing your coaching capacities so you’re set up for success when you graduate and either start or level up your professional practice. The certification program is structured in a way that you get a balance of theory—including the neuroscience of coaching—as well as application and business training. This is the full package!
Do I have to know about science or like science to do this certification program?
All the science-related material we cover is relevant to the work you’ll be doing as a Somatic Soul Coach™ so no previous experience is required. As long as you’re open to learning about science in a somatically-supportive way, you’ll get a lot out of the neuroscience part of the program!
What is the class size?
To ensure an intimate and supportive learning experience, class size is capped at 20 people.
Who else is in the program?
The other people in the program will be leaders like you who are ready to unlock and uplevel their ability to have an impact in the world, without sacrificing their income. We usually have a mix of yoga teachers, coaches, healers, therapists, and other wellness practitioners.
How much time can I expect to spend on coursework each week?
Expect to dedicate approximately 10-12 hours every week to coursework. You can learn more about the course schedule here.
When do live calls take place?

How do you include the body in this online certification program?
We acknowledge and address the body in every aspect of this certification program. On calls you can move around, we take breaks, and we do our best to make sure you’re able to stay focused and engaged. We also provide suggestions to help you prepare for the online elements of the program. Your body will be well cared for!
Does Dana Regan personally teach the course?
Yes! Dana teaches alongside her amazing faculty of coaches and educators. She will be present on all of your core curriculum calls.

How much does the certification program cost?
The early-bird investment for the Somatic Soul Coach™ School certification program is $10,499. After December 31, 2018, the program investment goes up to $13,499.
What’s included in the certification program tuition?
You investment in this certification program includes all course materials, live call times, mentor meetings, community doula sessions, live feedback, and ongoing support from the various members of our team.
Are there any additional costs associated with the certification program?
You will be asked to buy a few books for the program. This will cost you no more than $100 altogether. You can also borrow the books from your local library if they’re available.
Are there payment plans available?
Yes! Once you’re accepted into the certification program, you can choose your preferred payment plan.
Do you offer a discount for students?
We do not offer discounts for students.
What types of payment are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards if you have a payment plan. If you pay upfront for the entire certification program we accept all major credit cards as well as debit cards.

Yes. Late payments incur a $100 processing fee
What is the Somatic Soul Coach™ School’s refund policy?
All deposits are non-refundable. Once the certification program has started, we do not offer refunds for any portion of the course. You’ll receive a full breakdown of our refund policy once you’ve been accepted into our certification program and before you register and put down your deposit.
